Generalist Officer Scale II – Educational Qualification & Additional Requirements

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience as an officer in a Scheduled Public Sector Bank or Scheduled Private Sector Bank, preferably in credit-related areas, Branch Head, or In-charge roles.

• Only full-time experience as a permanent employee acquired after obtaining the required educational qualification will be considered.

• Percentage marks will be calculated as:

  Total marks obtained in all semesters/years ÷ Total maximum marks × 100
  Fractions will be ignored — for example, 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%

2. Interview

• Total Marks: 100

• Weightage in Final Selection: 25%

• Shortlisting: Candidates will be called for interview in a 1:3 ratio based on their performance in the online examination.

3. Final Selection

• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined scores:

  • Online Exam: 75% weightage

  • Interview: 25% weightage

• Candidates will be ranked in descending order of merit.

• Tie-Breaker: If scores are equal, the candidate older in age will be placed higher.

4. Document Verification

5. Medical Examination
